We used the whiteboards again to diagram sentences, but then didn't have a good way to share our answers. There must be a way to do this... I wonder if we can find out from someone at MSU so we can still use it as a resource? It's really a great tool. I think that the descriptions of the sentence diagrams must have been confusing for those who didn't have the quiz in front of them, but I thought it was okay since I was able to open my quiz up.
However, when I open up Dr. Smidt's answers, the lines don't show up at all. For some reason, both my PC and Mac computers don't seem to support the format. I'm going to e-mail her to see if she knows what program I need to have.
P.S. I figured out how to open the quiz doc in a different application and saw the correct format. :)
ReplyDeleteI think so too, it could be very confusing by just listening to the tree diagrams descriptions.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear that you could open Dr. smidt's answer doc. Right, letping. It would be more clear if we could use board to apply the tree diagrams.
ReplyDeleteI just bought a Wacom tablet, which allows me to use a pen instead of a mouse. We'll see whether it would be better once it actually arrives, because you're right, the WhiteBoard is really an excellent tool and it'd be a pity to give up on it.
